Have you ever quit your job without a plan? How did that go for you?

Yes I did. A boss came to my jobsite that was on a thirty day start to turn ober. He began ordering guys to drop what they were doing and do something else. The crews there were all set up knowing their timing to do things so next guy could do his part and so on. We had been following it and had seven work days to finish and were pretty much on it. Had a laborer cleaning and running for things. Worked perfectly until then. Guys looked at me so i thru boss out, told him go back to his office and let us do our fn job. Yep he went total war on me so i just grabbed what i could carry and said bye bye.
But then within a day, Got the absolutely best job with the best boss and owners. Seriously. Wish i had worked for them my all fifty years. And bonus was the gave me everything for jobs including truck, and plenty for pay.
I fell out of hellhole into a dream job

I didn't sign a new contract. Three months later pandemic hit and I couldn't have been happier that I avoided a law enforced 2 month notice resignation letter in case I had signed it. In May they contacted me with an offer to work for them remotely.

Yes. I couldn't stand working for my boss, so I gave notice and he asked me to stay until he found a replacement. Unfortunately, he would not let me look for another job during work hours, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. I finally left with no job in sight. My wife was nine months pregnant. It only took a week to find a better job with higher pay. I started work on Monday, and a week later our baby was born. It worked out great for us.

As impulsive as I am, smh.

I always give a two weeks notice. It's just respect.

Always have to have a plan.

But, I'm always grateful for the job.

It pays the bills.

🙏

It was a good decision for me. Worked out well. Looking back, thought, I wonder how I could take such a mad decision 😃
