If women really do get paid less than men for same hours and productivity, why aren’t economists not hiring just women to halve their overheads?

@DazzaTheHutt well, Not too doubtful...women weren't even "allowed" to work in certain positions like lawyers, doctors. When they were more than capable. They lost many many dollars then, but didn't care because it was a "woman". 😑

You never see women complaining that they are under represented in mining, construction, heavy manufacturing and other roles they consider beneath them.

@DazzaTheHutt Yet there are women in those professions ...just not more than men. It would be like saying "Well men aren't as interested in child care or preschool teaching positions, so they shouldn't be a lawyer then. "
