Is 'bandcamp' actually a real thing in the USA?

No I've never seen any of the American Pie movies but the meme with Alison Hannigan never goes away though I don't fully make sense of it.

Band camp as part of the American Summer Camp program for all students is definitely a thing.
They have many international camp counselors at different summer camps all over the US each summer.

@zonavar68 US summer vacation for schools runs through July and August which is when their summer camps run all across the country. They have summer camps for all under privileged kids all the way up to exclusive summer camps for ultra rich kids of politicians and movie star parents.

US Christmas winter vacation only runs for the Christmas/Boxing Day period then it’s back to work.
Southern Hemisphere country’s have combined Christmas/Summer holiday vacation that starts in early December and finishes in early Feb when schools start the NY.

@justanothername True. When I went to school in the 70's and 80's our school year was 3 terms, then the gov changed it to 4 terms. Summer school holidays here go from mid-dec to end of Jan, plus there's short school holidays around Easter, late June, and Oct. I had no annual leave last year from my job so I'm taking some right now.
