I not only believe it, but I participated, having sex many times with many a number of women during my deployment in I Corp, in the northern part of South Vietnam during the TET Offensive February 1968. Deployed in Phu Bai but enjoyed sex as far north oh Hue and as far south as Phu Loc. One has a certain attitude when in a war zone. You have to be there in uniform to understand fully what I am talking about.

It is widely known that wasn't the case for Vietnam Veterans when they first came back but now is different.

@laurieluvsit yes it does. It was tough coming home in 1969. In fact we were told before boarding our flight into the US to change out of uniform and into civilian clothes .. that was a shock What was worse, was after 59 K soldiers killed and who knows how manny injured. Not to mention the soldiers that have suffered the results of Agrnt Orange. A O is the silent killer, I have been lucky that my cancers are in check. Five cancers to be exact, prostate Cancer, kidney Cancer, melanoma , and two other skin cancers that are under continuous treatment. As a result of complications from two surgeries, I wear a catheter the rest of my life and lost my right leg as strait of septic shock and gangrene. Hey. No complaints, i have had a great life, i do most everything I want, scuba diving, fishing, travelin, not bad for an old broken down Vietnam Vet who will be 81 in June. I thank God everyday. He has protected me everyday of my life.
I believe we need to bring back the draft. The young people have no idea what the military is all about. People don’t like What they don’t understand.

There's only one way to deal with warriors like those and that is to be hard on them, very hard and put into them stiff penalties for failing to ensure every weapon is clean and well lubricated, loaded and unloaded often for a complete function check, and at the end of the day making sure the smallest to the largest blades are sheathed until morning to be ready to do it all over again. That's real discipline 😜
