Antonym is Proactive...

Procrastination generally refers to the act of delaying or postponing tasks, often to the point where they are not completed. It can imply an indefinite delay, where tasks are continually pushed aside.

On the other hand, crastination, derived from the Latin "crastinus," specifically refers to delaying something until the next day or tomorrow.

I knew this difference as a teen. I was proactively procrastinating. 😆
I'll get back to you on that...

The primary antonym for procrastination is precrastination, which describes the tendency to do tasks as soon as possible, sometimes even before they are necessary.

Not to be confused with premastication.
