My pet turtle is getting violent.

My pet turtle is named Jerry. When I’m sleeping he somehow climbs onto my bed and starts breathing heavy and growling in my ear. Last night he was chasing me around the kitchen doing spin kicks until he kicked me in the face and knocked me unconscious for several minutes. When I came to, Jerry was standing on his hind legs holding a knife. I escaped and called the police. The officer who came here was laughing at me when I showed him my turtle and told him what was going on. Of course Jerry was acting like a normal turtle pretending to be asleep while the cop was here. Now I don’t even feel safe in my own home. I wish someone would have told me about how violent turtles can get.
I don’t know what to do about Jerry.😢
