To anyone who has always been thin...

Does keeping your figure in check seem like a full time job? Constantly making sure you don't go over a certain number of calories, getting in walks daily etc...I lost twenty pounds for my health last year but have gained six back over the winter. I'm back into walking several days a week but it's always difficult too not going over say, 1700 calories a day. I'm really determined to lose those few pounds again, plus ten more. But it's NOT easy. Any tips?

I walk and climb stairs a lot. I also do eat as often or as much as I should. I've always been 'skinny' and took as much grief over my body type as those who were considered 'fat'. It's almost like the so called 'normal' people are afraid of anyone or anything that isn't exactly like them...
