For me? I have a small wood shop that I love to work in, that the weather has no impact on. It allows me to smell the aromatic smells of wood, and how I can turn any of that in to something creative or useful.
The second benefit is time travel. As I work, my mind wanders my universe and I think of things either recent, or personally ancient to me. In Winter as the Westerlies assault my shop, I am inside, my wood stove crackling away......and I'm a thousand miles from nowhere.
I'd call that idyllic.

be thankful we still have them! where I love the rain is the rule most of the time and I am glad of it.
Get used to rain wear I prefer wool to a lot of those vinyl kinds. anjoy air moist enougth to rbeath dont let rain keep you inside!

If it’s really bad then stay under the duvet and watch films. If it’s not too bad then I would still do what I would normally do (shopping, pub, hiking.)

I love staying in, watching movies and listening to my music and audios. I also enjoy the rain, especially if there's lots of rumbling thunder. I find it soothing.
