Like, have we never had snow or ice before??

Like 30 minutes press briefing being held. Yes, we're going to get a ton of snow and some ice.

Stay warm, stay off the roads and stay safe. I mean it's simple and common sense.

All the press briefings I'm hearing is as if we're preparing for some doomsday event.

Yup. At the same time, there will be a coating of ice on everything about an inch thick...and the power lines will go down. AND until the ice melts, it will be too dangerous for the crews to get out there and fix the lines. IMO THAT is the only thing you have to worry about.

Me, I am worried about ice, but I can't stay home if the food pantry opens up. I just bought an awesome pair of super spiky cleats. No broken hips for me!
