As a Massachusetts resident, this almost seems funny to me. I just read that you got 1.1 inches of snow! 🤣🤣🤣
When I worked for Harvard Pilgrim, I used to be part of the "storm crew", and I drove 26 miles during a blizzard and 10" of snow to get to work...and no, I did NOT have 4 wheel drive...🤣🤣🤣

@Nighttalker Wow. Actually, I lived in Lansing for almost 2 years. The state government had NO money for snow plowing while I lived there, in 2008-2010. I guess that living in Massachusetts spoiled me. At the first sign of snow, plows and salt trucks are on the highways immediately. I was really, really shocked that the snow on the major highways was not plowed! I had never seen such a thing!
In 1998 we also drove to Lansing and back through Chicago, where there was a lake effect blizzard going on. We were in a van, carrying a huge load of silver-plated flatware back to Massachusetts, so the back of the van was enormously heavy. I think that's the ONLY reason we made it through, because cars were skidding off the sides of the road all around us!
I'm sorry if you find my minor disagreement with your snow stories irritating, though. Really.

Was down in Georgia in Augusta when it snowed once. Was absolute chaos the way people were driving. Walked out of the Hotel lobby and seen 3 different accidents in less than a minute including one lady that hit at least 6 cars as she spun down the road.
