The vodka is a tad bittersweet tonight

So much devastation from this hurricane and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that western North Carolina is pretty much shut down right now. Say a prayer for all those affected not only here but in the other states in its path.

@JohnnyNoir Yes we did. Our temps are in the low 90's daily. Being in a closed up house it gets hot fast! It felt good sleeping in a air conditioned RV. Plus we transferred the contents of our refrigerator to the one in the motorhome. That way we didn't lose anything.

@Coralmist the pictures I'm seeing from the western part of NC are heartbreaking. Highways flooded and collapsed, several towns pretty much flooded out.

It’s absolutely devastating. I have seen so many videos with the destruction the hurricane has done.

@iamonfire696 thank you! Getting a better look at the devastation today as more pictures and video is posted. The NC mountains do a lot of tourist business when the fall colors arrive and that's money they'll lose now that this has happened
