Sitting here topless in front of the air conditioner...

wondering how I am going to survive next week, when it will get HOTTER. My air conditioner and ALL my fans are running trying to spread out the cool air a little bit. My cat had a heat stroke yesterday. (He's okay now, thank you). It's 85F in here with the air conditioner running full blast day and night and 85F is the OUTSIDE temperature right now!!!! My bedroom where the cat is sleeping is about 90F.

Hope it's better today. It's been similar weather here in NC but we're due for rain and hopefully some relief. Topping out around 100° here for the last week or so

@JohnnyNoir OMgosh...muggy, too, I'll bet...like almost the entire south. Yes, it is better. The AC wasn't working too well, so I opened the slider and it cooled off a lot more inside here. It rained this morning, so that helps a little bit.

@4meAndyou very muggy. There's a line of storms well to the East of us but I'm praying they start popping up later where I live. I may have to trot out my rain dance late tonight if it doesn't
