@saragoodtimes They spend their entire lives trying to perfect what they love (their profession) , and being that person is who they are and is what drives them. However, I suspect he will do what is necessary to keep you happy.

@saragoodtimes Retirement is nothing he wants to be a part of, not yet anyway. But taking on a few partners might broaden his experience and then allow him to take more personal time off.

@saragoodtimes You need to find a way to get him to dial it back without resenting you. Practicing medicine is his first love.

@saragoodtimes Nope, but sharing his time with you is. If you take a little trip to someplace fun (by yourself) because sitting at home alone is a drag...he will get the hint and have some fun, too.😉

@saragoodtimes That empty nest takes some time getting used to. Let it ride for another four years until Katie completes her degree. You know you have the fallback summer and Holiday place for her and your son Mike. When they actually get out in the world and have their own apartments and such is when the empty nest really hits, and then you can make changes to rooms and the like then.
