Terrifying! But absolutely beautiful at the same time!

@4meAndyou Too bad we can’t capture that energy and use it for our power supply.

@cherokeepatti Wind harnessing...but that wind is far too strong to harness...it would destroy any windmill.

Oh my word, the energy in that thing!
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@TurnMeLoose there was a large circle in the atmosphere that seemed to be spinning off individuals storms and tornadoes and that lasted for about 5 hours before it started calming down. The meteorologist said it was like a Merry-Go-Round of energy spinning off tornados.

North of Dallas, south of Kansas City. From my flying days, Probably the worst thunderstorm ally on earth. I've heard B52 pilots claim that at 50 thousand feet, there were still more CB clouds above them than below them.

Supercells are so ornate and magnificent to watch. This year the storms have been particularly violent along tornado alley. Luckily I have only seen two this year. One, we flew around; the other, we opened up the storm cellar and made sure the flashlights worked.

@TexChik They said yesterday that Oklahoma has has 28 tornadoes so far and the season is still young
