The thunder is so loud in the distance.

[c=800000]It sounds like someone has taken a sheet of tin and is waving it like a towel.
It sounds OMINOUS! [/c]
😳
Witness to natures might and fury, is both humbling, and awe inspiring.

I remember one like this that came in 3 second salvos, like the great guns of Navarone.
Out where the pantheon were at war in the heavens.

@SethGreene531 [c=800000]Wow! It sounds as though it was disconcerting! [/c]
@ProfessorPlum77 They don't usually concern me. This was like the battle of Dieppe witnessed from the safety of an upstairs window. With muzzle flashes and return fire, strung along a squall line; lighting up the clouds like the western front.

I'd not been surprised had the god's gone bowling.

I hope it's not too bad. We had thunderstorm last week that was awful. Lightning started fires and transformers were blowing all around. Our power went off, but the generator kicked on.

@exexec [c=800000]Wow! Was that in the Midwest? [/c]

@exexec [c=800000]That makes sense. I am on the Gulf, too.
I saw a video about the flash flooding in Dallas, last week. [/c]

@ProfessorPlum77 They really had it bad. We can handle that kind of rain around here, but they have too many hills so lower places flood.
