how do you cope in this hot weather spell if you don't have air conditioning [I Hate Hot Weather]

I used to freeze 4 - 2 litre plastic bottles filled with water.
Then place them in front of a fan. It would blow cooler air.
Not a lot, but cooler.

Would buying a window A/C unit be feasible?

The smallest ones here, 5,000 BTU, are capable of decently cooling a 12 by 12 foot room or about 150 square feet, costs about $150 USD or maybe 130 euros.

None of those figures I put are exact obviously. You can do your own research.

But yeah if you have the money or can get the money, it will help a lot.

Pour handfuls of water all over your shirt..get it very wet, it really cools the body for a while in hot weather

i wet tea towels and wring them out and lay them over myself with the fan on

get a fan or have a cool shower
