Sounds fair tbh. I'm actually against the whole idea of people having guns in general, but if citizens can have guns why can't immigrants? They're not less of human beings, and just because they don't yet have citizenship doesn't mean it cannot be regulated or no background checks can be made... What usually happens is that immigrants typically mind their own business trying hard to survive without doing anything that gets them kicked out of the country until they get the green card.
