modern games are mostly trash

there are only a handful i can name in the past couple years that have been worth playing, the rest are laced with live service bullshit, monetised to fuck, content cut for future dlc

it's all $$$ like everything else. people who pre-order are complicit

I been a Nintendo gamer most of my life. I really like Zelda and Mario more then anything else. Zelda Breath of the wild was the first Zelda game to have a dlc that I know of. I have all was wanted a harder Zelda and breath of the wild finally gave me that in the dlc. Also gave the gamer a few more shrines and a couple bosses and a really awesome motorcycle u can drive. But because of Zelda I got into the dark souls games and I really enjoy immortals fenyx rising. When that game got a dlc I jumped to buy it. It was so worth the money for a little extra stuff to find and explore

@smileylovesgaming Ever since my childhood in the 90's I've been from one end of the gaming scale to the other, starting with the Atari 2600 VCS, then the Vectrex, then the NES, then Sega Genesis, briefly followed by the SNES, then briefly followed by the Sega CD, then the Nintendo Virtual Boy. Shortly thereafter, I was a PC gamer, then came the N64, followed by a stint with the Sony Playstation, then the Playstation 2, followed by the X-Box, then going back to the Commodore VIC-20, Sega Genesis, NES, Atari 2600, and Colecovision. And as for handheld games, I started with Nintendo Game Boy, then Sega Game Gear, then handheld Tetris game.

Pretty sure. years and years ago I was addicted to playing Big win Football. Ive spent over $500 bucks to build a team just to get my ass whopped by Mediocre teams.

as Ive continue to experience other games. fuck it I'm done with them BS from Google Playstore. Itunes is the same BS as well

They're better than ever but too expensive and time consuming. Most games nowadays take around 40 hours to complete, and that's not counting dlc and side quests. Also the cutscenes all together end up being around 5-10 hours

Eh I've been playing video games since the 80s and some of my favourite games of all time are recent. None of the classics from my youth can compare to Disco Elysium for example. That shit is a masterpiece.
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
Classic games are better.

Too many games carry the stench of soulless corporate money sucking shenanigans

For the most part I'm sticking with my old favorites. BUT if there's a game I've to look forward to is that KOTOR remake a few years down the line. Please don't let me down!

What are your favorite games? new and old
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
I've only played a handful of games I actually liked enough to finish.

Silent Hill series
Resident Evil series
Final Fantasy 8
All the Quantic Dream games
All the Sims games

That's literally it. All else, I got bored and gave up.
HannibalMontanimal · 26-30, M
Well that's just your opinion. I find a lot of the new games pretty cool. Maybe you just haven't found the right one.
XBDance · 36-40, T
@HannibalMontanimal tell me your favorite
HannibalMontanimal · 26-30, M
@XBDance I don't have a favorite but I can name a couple good ones. Grounded is an excellent game. The new mw2 is also good. Resident evil village is good too

clearly you are buying the wrong games... dont fall for big AAA titles but there is some really amazing games out there
IMO, most of them are better but the really best ones are ridiculously priced.
Jungleman · M
like most things modern, it's pure rubbish.
DDonde · 31-35, M
There's a lot of good games, but they're not big budget ones
