When I use to smoke cigarettes, some airports ban them. They rarely have any smoking zones. Took me a while to find one, but you have to buy Alcohol in order to smoke there because, there's an outside bar there too.

@FreestyleArt Definitely Denver. Upstairs. Atlanta has (had?) glassed in smoking areas set up in the halls. 😆

I found my seat, and opened the overhead to place my carryon in the overhead, only to find that thd passengers three rows back on the opposite side of thd plane took up all the overhead space with their "souvenir wine." Being new to flying, I placed my carryon next to me in my seat, only to have the flight attendant tell me to give to her to put further down the isle in an overhead not near where I was sitting. Then when we landed I had to wait for everyone to disembark before I could get my bag because I was actually the considerate one to others. 🙄

Our step mother sent us to the wrong "Springfield", three thousand miles away from where we wanted to go. It was a long, cold non holiday.

Really bad turbulence. The lady beside me, a stranger, was totally frightened, so I asked if she wanted me to hold her hand. She almost cut off the circulation to my fingers by squeezing so hard each time we hit a bump.

Day after wedding had a row with fellow passenger at baggage reclaim. I was tired!

Portland to Chicago - extreme turbulence had to divert into Canada and took an extra hour to get to Chicago

It's not really the airline's fault, but my first time flying as an adult, I learned I have motion sickness. Which came as a huge surprise to me, because you could put me on any amusement park ride and I'd be fine. But an airplane? Nope. Need that dramamine.

I had an unexpected 5 hr. delay at DFW.

All of them. I haven't been on a plane since 1988. Hopefully never again.

Being new to the experience. The regulars have done it a thousand times and had like zero patients for the newbie.
