Yes, a lot. When they're flying low is really annoying.

There is an airfield close by that fields Biplanes and helicopters. Some of the biplanes are antique. And they fly them regularly.

Yes. Occasionally jets but they tend to be way up. Sometimes small planes, probably someone out for a joyride. Sometimes military planes, the military flies training missions over this area so we get an assortment of planes (and helicopters) circling the area. This tends to come and go, we can go years with almost no activity and then it will become very frequent for a while.

There's actually a private landing strip maybe 4 miles from here. I don't think it is currently in use, but years ago the owner had a Stearman biplane that he flew around on weekends. That was always fun to watch.

Oh, and the "life flight" helicopters often pass over. I'm hearing one now for at least the third time tonight.

Apart from calling them aeroplanes or aircraft here... yes, frequently.

Helicopters mainly.

Commercial airliners at higher altitudes, going to or from any of the several airports relatively close together in the SW of England. The exhaust trails are more visible than the planes themselves.

The occasional private 'plane too.

Yes, our house is in the landing patterns for a major civilian airport and a former Air Force Base that is still used by military aircraft, the Coast Guard helicopters, NASA aircraft, and civilian aircraft.
