@DogMan after riding my brothers and nearly peeing myself, I decided I was happier on mine and laughing at the street rods I could blow off. Especially the guys with vettes😁 Stoplight to stoplight they didn't stand a chance.

Thats for sure. I drag raced my XR500 a couple times at an old runway. I would enter the Trophy class for 15 dollars just to have fun. Unfortunately it topped out at about 75, but it would get there really fast. I would have to hang out over the front to keep the front wheel down due to all the traction.
@DogMan I'm so indecisive on what to do with the CRF. Seat and sumo wheels and tires should be on the shopping list. It's being ridden today to not wear out the other bike's tires. Not meant for 5+ hours in the saddle
@Justafantasy They make some nice seat pads for those, if your legs are long enough. I have short legs, that bike is tall for me even without a pad. I had a Husky back when I was a young man, it had a 38" seat height, I don't know how the hell I ever rode it. It also had a lefthand kick starter which was frustrating.
@DogMan they also make bigger gas tanks and had I paid more attention gas stations closer together. Want to guess who rolled into the gas station last night?
I rode a friend's old Bultaco. It was maybe 250cc but it was a 2 stroke so it had power. What made it scary was the brakes and tires were crap. But it was still fun offroad because it only weighed about 200lbs.
@RedBaron Actually, 200 pounds is ultra light for a motorcycle, very easy to control such a small amount of weight when you want throw it around, and the power to weight ratio allows for some crazy manipulation.
@Birdbox1986 Don't you like to do things that scare you a little? I know there are people that avoid risk at all costs. Luckily not all. I like to think that those of us that embrace risk and adventure, are like the people that discovered the world back when it was risky.
