I think seeing this situation involving a Hells Angel and his old lady would be akin to finding a 5-leaf clover.

@SW-User I think you're right. And I've never understood why the culture is like that.

I love this picture. I see no problems here

@TrashCat 🤷♂️i am a brit so had no idea how the american law stood on crash helmets
TrashCat · M
@smiler2012 Each State typically has their own laws governing motor vehicle laws
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@smiler2012 So, it's not so much that there aren't laws on the books about crash helmets as the fact that in America, most motorcycle enthusiasts have a tendency to be less than enthusiastic about obeying the law. In fact, that's kind of their thing.

@SW-User They might be going real slow until she gets a feel for the bike. She may have some thick, wiry hair too.

@OogieBoogie i hear that. Still have a dent in my upper thigh from a rock that got under my skin.

True. It shows two very confident people.

@SW-User I don’t know the context. But when my baby sister’s husband gave her a Harley, he would occasionally ride on back. He was confident enough that his masculinity was not threatened and they were both very confident in her driving.

Excellent. That was a side thought about that situation... why would it be "threatening" to a man's masculinity?

@SW-User I honestly don’t think there’s a good reason. I just know that for some, it is.
That’s why you rarely see the man in back, even though women own bikes, too.

When I started out riding, helmets were not mandatory (1965). In fact, neither were motorcycle licenses.
Those were simpler (stupider) times...
