I still don't get why car dealerships are closed on Sunday...

one I worked at briefly wasn't, most sales were on weekend (just had to process/finalize on weekday cause banks closed on weekends of course)

I have a cousin thayt was a car salesperson..he worked on sunday. I dont know of any dealer closed on sunday near me.

There are a few things / reasons they aren't open on Sunday (but are open on Saturday). In some places it is illegal (different types of businesses are allowed to be open on different days and at different times). Many dealerships want customers to be able to wander through their lots (to see what it available) without sales staff so that someone who might not really have been looking for a car (need to buy one now) might see something and make a purchase they didn't really need

Car dealers are open on Sundays up here in Canada. That is because our god is not lazy and doesn't get tired or call in <sick of creating sh_t>.

it's law in many US States and most dealerships are family owned and like a day of rest

Because the staff have to get paid sunday weekend rates? Diminished benefit to owner of the business
