@Pretzel yes, Austin Texas has self driving cars called "Waymo". I hear good and bad, but the bad is what is called "annoying" like blocking a driveway or being stopped and then getting hit (low speed) by another car. The number of serious accidents in a Waymo are less than human driven car accidents. So there is a lot of progress being made. I hear that China is using self driving cars and city buses.

@Convivial yeah I get that and don't disagree. Those cars make me uneasy.
I'm just wondering if more self drivers, and the drivers weren't in control..might there be less fatalities.
The worst part about the drunk drivers to me is they are often less injured than the people they hit.
