I failed my first driving exam because I listened to the guy doing the test "you know you can drive 10km over the limit here"
Has me make an illegal left. And a couple of other things I can't quite remember. but when the test was over he was like "you failed". When I asked why, he brought up every rule I broke and I was like 'but you told me to"... Apparently I was supposed to use my better judgement and not blindly follow his instructions, if there was a problem with one of the instructions I was supposed to bring it up. 😐
@reubles That's entrapment and subject to appeal.

Growing up on a working farm, I had been driving for four years before I took my driving test. I was home-schooled, and we lived out in the boonies, so they allowed mom (a certified teacher and retired professor) to teach me the class, but I had to test in town at the high school (for the driver's ed course). I passed that and got my learner's permit. Daddy had me chauffeuring him around in a '72 Chevy truck with three on the tree. I used that truck to take my driving test. When the officer got in, he stopped, looked at me, and asked if I was sure I could drive it. I said yes, sir...and we took off. I made a couple of turns, got it out on the highway, and then parallel parked it before driving back to the DPS building. He told me that any kid who shows up in a standard on a driving test and can handle it passes in his book. The written was easy.

20 written questions back then, yet I did the harder 20 motorcycle question as well. Both passed on the first try. Same pass on the driving test.

The motorcycle written test was obviously the hardest.

Must say, I did go to drivers ed, even back then, before trying. It was a required class. Though no driving was apart of it. Just covered the laws.

@XDHyperGirlXD1 use the drive thru drug testing facility. 😆
XDHyperGirlXD1 · 31-35, F
@DeWayfarer how people supposed to past these days if the question are unrealistic 🤭
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@XDHyperGirlXD1 Not that I like it, yet their reasoning is you are supposed to know ALL the relevant questions, which is why they allow you to pass, with missing questions. The law only says you pass while missing two questions. Not what type of questions are given.

They really expect you to get 100% on all the questions. So they throw in a non relevant question just to make certain you really know ALL the relevant questions.

They are purposely raising the bar on testing. They don't agree with the law that says you pass missing two questions.

This is as well why it's forty questions instead of the 20 in the past.

They raised the bar for that reason as well.

The written test was a breeze, but even with the anxiety of having someone right next to you (and grading you) while doing the driving part wasn't fun, but it was easy.
Ducky · 31-35, F
The permit test was way harder, lol. Took me five attempts to finally pass it and when I took the actual driving test, I passed it on the first try and only got marked down for two things.
Achelois · F
I found the questions easy, a lot are common sense.

Written was harder even though she passed me when I couldn't parallel park. 🤪
XDHyperGirlXD1 · 31-35, F
@Lilymoon you parallel park through the butter tarts factory wall but i know you did it on purpose 🤨
Both were easy for me. I studied and practiced driving beforehand.
XDHyperGirlXD1 · 31-35, F

The actual driving test , but I passed even though I failed to put my turn signal on while parallel parking….He was cool about it.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
For me, the written was easy. The actual driving test was the challenge.
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
@XDHyperGirlXD1 Lol! I've never been caught speeding! 😁

@XDHyperGirlXD1 The worst part was when it was over, the instructor gave me a 5 minute speech about how driving was a privilege that I should respect. The whole time he was talking he was waving my approved license in front of me 🤣
JackDaniels · 46-50, M
Both were easy.
Monalisasmith86 · 41-45, F
They were easy I just kept on getting rejected, for the smallest mistakes
