Why don't people drive slower when the weather is bad?

@Punches I heard on the news they was giving out tickets to people that was driving the speed limit. To try to get them to drive slower in this bad weather

@smileylovesgaming I remember at some point in winter in the mid 90's, there was this article in the paper, some young guy driving a camaro got in a hurry and was passing some car that was supposedly driving too slow on an icy road. Well, the camaro driver lost control and hit something stationary but fortunately he was the only one that ummm, "didn't make it".

All I could think was, "Yep, that is what happens when someone thinks they are a bad 4ss."

Now onto a less morbid tale - my old room mate pulled a similar stunt one November. She was not hurt but was on a slick road, got impatient, tried to pass someone and hit a guard rail.
The front of her car was leaning sideways like a lowrider, except not as beautiful. 😄

I told her, "Well now just think, you can sag with the homies, and we can start calling you "The Pimpin' Mamma" when you drive (even though the car was de4d).

She did not seem to appreciate my sophisticated style of humor.
