Please tell me I'm not the only one! What do you listen to on days like this? [I Love Driving With the Windows Down, Music Blasting]
It's gorgeous today. Sunny and close to 70 degrees. The first really nice day we've had. I didn't see anyone else with their windows down on my commute home. How could they resist when it's so nice out?
It was too cold and snowy today to drive with the windows down ...and I was too busy cursing out the guy driving suuuuuppppeeeerrrr slow with his flashers on in the fast lane.
@ProdigalSummer I went for his birthday on Friday and I think I came home on Tuesday? We all pull campers out there because we know nobody will be in shape to drive by the end of it. So you wake up on Saturday and someone somewhere is playing guitar while somebody else makes breakfast. Next thing you know you are playing one of those box drum things and hoping to keep time or shaking an egg rattle if you are really bad. Next thing you know it's Saturday night, the barn is full, someone is roasting a pig, the younger people are playing beer pong with 5 gallon pails and here we fucking go again. It's a 4 hour drive for me to go back home but worth every minute of it. Music therapy baby!
Our weather was similar but in the upper 40s (so close to 50 rather than 70)....still we rolled the windows down and enjoyed it. I love Amos Lee....mostly I listen to blues and blues-based rock.
