Please tell me I'm not the only one! What do you listen to on days like this? [I Love Driving With the Windows Down, Music Blasting]
It's gorgeous today. Sunny and close to 70 degrees. The first really nice day we've had. I didn't see anyone else with their windows down on my commute home. How could they resist when it's so nice out?
@ProdigalSummer when it comes to music I'm all over the place. Some days are rock days, others are classic country or grunge. Some people stick to one genre and they really cheat themselves
@ProdigalSummer oh we are the same. I just didn't want to list very things out there. This summer we had a little gathering of about 150 people for a guys birthday and he hired a 2 man bluegrass band as a present to himself. I don't play an instrument myself but I'm lucky to have a lot of friends that do. The banjo and fiddle didn't stop till the sun came up. We do it every summer at a little barn in the middle of nowhere
@ProdigalSummer I went for his birthday on Friday and I think I came home on Tuesday? We all pull campers out there because we know nobody will be in shape to drive by the end of it. So you wake up on Saturday and someone somewhere is playing guitar while somebody else makes breakfast. Next thing you know you are playing one of those box drum things and hoping to keep time or shaking an egg rattle if you are really bad. Next thing you know it's Saturday night, the barn is full, someone is roasting a pig, the younger people are playing beer pong with 5 gallon pails and here we fucking go again. It's a 4 hour drive for me to go back home but worth every minute of it. Music therapy baby!
