what are your views about sharebike schemes if there are any operating near you ?

A few places in Australia have sharebike operators with fleets of shared e-bikes. There's one here run my a mob called Beam.

The bikes are considered by many to be an eyesore as they are left wherever, out in all weather, often fallen over or put in trees, people's front yards, into creeks, etc.

They are a pain. The companies keep folding up and they abandon the bikes to be collected and disposed off at the taxpayer's expense.

In Singapore most of these companies are *cough* Chinese *cough*

There needs to be far more regulation. I feel as if these endeavours are some sort of fraud scheme

Saw those things recently - gasp they are a blight on the environment. Beam Mobility appears to be an Indonesian company.
