@Unefilletrescurieuse But we love being modest..It's our choice..I don't cover my hair but I'm modest...I never show skin,wear sheer,or wear short skirts....

My mother tells me "you don't wear a hijab why don't you wear tops that are sleevless or are half sleeves"?

I hate showing my arms even though I have a beautiful figure.

We as Muslom women are still modest even if we don't wear a Hijab or appear Muslim...Even though some of us show skin,wear short etc...You still can get mislead by Muslim women who don't wear hijab.... Cause not wearing a Hijab doesn't mean we are not modest or we can/want to show skin.

@Yassmeene I am Christian, not Muslim, but am also very modest in my dress (modest by, I suppose, western standards). And through my work I have traveled in several Islamic countries and always wore a head scarf when I did out of respect for local custom. There are many beautiful sides to your culture and (to me) modesty is one of them. 🙏🫂
