We have a test to become a citizen, a test to drive, a test for certain jobs and schools...but the thing is, none of those things are "rights", they're all privileges. Voting is supposed to be a right, so it's not supposed to be something you test into. It would be difficult to devise a test that was seen as truly fair and unbiased too.

I fully support an IQ test to vote. Sub 100 and you are disqualified to vote. The biggest problem with this would be the cries of racism.

At first glance, this is an interesting thought but what defines idiocy? It's definition could be very subjective, and you've heard the discussions behind an IQ test I'm sure. I think the idea behind voting is not about whether you are good enough to vote but that you CAN vote.

Both have.. hard working smart people have been held back by terrible leaders . And genius leaders have been stopped by idiot masses.
It's a collective... It's a ... A work in progress always. The smartest amount us rarely get recognized until after we die, but the masses would never change without those people....in politics or outside of them...
