Hi. Do you remember what you wanted to be when you were a kid. I wanted to be a lawyer at first. Then I realized how corrupt that business was. I wanted to be a farmer. Then I realized that it was a pastime and was a lot of hard work. And I had to clean up after animals all day long. But hey at least I ended up doing something I love now. What about you. A big rig truck driver. I wanted to travel the US and thought it would be a great way to do so. That ended when I was told I couldn't drive with seizures. - next, I wanted to join the family business, which I'm still in now, 35 years later.
I wanted to be a surgeon. 😂 As soon as I got to high school I was like that’s not gonna happen. Now I hope to become a phlebotomist for a while and then get my bachelors in Biology. Still interested in med.
@TryingtoLava same. When I was a teenager I volunteered at small veterinarian clinic for a short time. First time I broke down crying at a seeing a animal in distress I knew I could never handle it
Professional baseball player. Played in school but never for money. Just as well though because I would hate their lifestyle of being on the road all the time.
My childhood dream was to be an architect, but because of financial challenges, I dropped out of college and entered the construction field. That's where I fell in love with hands-on building and later ended up with my own company, building houses. I had a great run, and I retired a few years ago. Now, I do odd handyman jobs to keep myself in shape and to keep my mind sharp.
I wanted to be a pilot. My family refused as i was expected to get married and raise a family and a pilot was a job for a man. But like you Zonus, i ended up doing something I love and are happy too.

Up to about 7 or 8 I wanted to be an inventor. At 9 to 12 I wanted to be a weapons designer from 12 to about 20 I wanted to be a pornographer. And then from 20 on a environmental energy scientist. Now I work for poverty wages for nys education. Welcome to America I say.
