Can u name an animal, (other than a cat or dog,) that makes a good pet ? 🐶 😺 🙉 🐥
Good evening ladies and gentlemen. How are you doing on this June 6, 2022. Yes, read between the lines there. Anyway, do you have any pets ? As we all may know most people have either a dog or cat in or near their home. But we are not talking about those. What kind of animal do you believe makes a good pet. How about a pig. Or a goat. Yes, there are some people in this world, believe it or not, who has those animals as pets. Some are not actually famers but are just your regular ordinary every day working people. What do you think ? Best answer wins. 🙂 🦮 🐕🦺
I think any animal can become a pet but the question should be do they want to be a pet. I'm an animal person so I'd love to own any animal as long as they had a safe and comfortable living environment and they were happy. But I think other than a dog or cat in the house hold is to much work and not enough reward. I'd maybe get a parakeet or a penguin 🐧 because I think I cold rig up a sufficient cooling system.
depends on what a person wants in a pet, how much money they have and the time they are willing to care for them. I like birds, have parakeets and canaries. Pretty low cost pets but there’s a lot of cleaning after them, they flap their wings and feathers and seed shells fly out. Papers in the cage bottoms need to be changed and they need fresh food and water. Plus the older they get the more the parakeets sass and complain.
@cherokeepatti Yes I had parakeets for several years as a child and I grew to hate changing the paper every other day. They also created a nasty mess daily with seeds as poo and feathers.
@Zonuss I got some of my favorite birds from people who figured that out after they bought them. Got a nice tall cage on a rolling stand with 4 parakeets and 3 pounds of seeds and bird toys for $40 at a yard sale. Two more parakeets after reading an ad in the newspaper and my neighbor gave me 2 males. All in the past 20 years
Ferrets are super fun but they are a lot of responsibility. No one should ever own one without learning extensively about them. But they are super silly and fun to watch
Many animals make great pets depending on your lifestyle. My brother used to have an Iguana. Making his aquarium was fun. Rabbits also make great pets. Turtles too. I used to have parakeets which are fun to talk to and hold in your hand. My mom has pet chickens right now ans they give us fresh eggs but they are mostly just pets.
