🙂 I think about graduations, proms, bikers, Mothers, Day, Memorial Day, and heat. But it really has not been all that hot down South yet. It feels more like Fall 😂. Anyway, what comes to your mind when you hear the word May. Tell us please. I am listening. How are you SW. 🙂
graduation, end of school year, college kids packing up & leaving, restaurants and stores not so crowded, more parking around campus, hotter weather, the smell of barbecue grills in the neighbor, the sound of lawnmowers and weed eaters, Mississippi kites, June bugs buzzing and popping around on window screens at night, Mayflies around window sills, the sound of air conditioners running, kids playing outside in their yards, buzzing grasshoppers & cicadas, chirping crickets, the smell of fresh-cut lawns, seeing the first mosquitoes, earwigs & other bugs getting into the house, peony flowers blooming, thinking about vacation or road trips, hours of yard work…..
@Zonuss , basil, oregano Tabasco, bell pepper, jalapeños, cabbage and garlic from seed green beans radishes beets , lettuce , and carrots. That side of the garden was started a tad bit earlier
Ocean temp hitting 50 here on Long Island and my surf season beginning . Being able to be in the water at 5:30 am bc of early sunrise . That’s May. Ow and the sound of douche bags on bikes tail pipes . Lol
