So many people shooting guns into the air

One on my friend got a bullet in his spine when few people was shooting in air for a marriage celebration. He was just 10 years old then. He is 40 now but still on wheel chair.

@bijouxbroussard Yes last 4th of July my moms living room window was shattered. We think that it was a bullet but we never found the casing. A reckless person probably shot at an angle from a distance

@bijouxbroussard I said "shooting directly up into the air", nothing about shooting AT things like windows. Just pointing out the fallacy that a bullet shot straight up will fall down at a speed high similar to its muzzle velocity. Sorry if you misunderstood.

@trackboy It was an old TV series when I was a kid. I loved the premise. Anachronistic technology!

@Oberon1 it was also made into a movie. many series have a gimmick to attract viewers. in that case, it was the age of invention with powered machinery just coming out. the movie was really good too. take out the gimmick and most series are pretty much the same. they start out promising in the first few episodes when they focus on the gimmick but then they are pretty much the same human interactions after that as the rest of the tv series.

@Mk8155 Growing up we only had small fireworks like you could buy at a typical fireworks stand but recently a lot of immigrants have moved into the neighborhood and they have some serious high powered professional level fireworks that honestly should not be set off in the neighborhood but they are beautiful

@REMsleep they are nice to watch but some don’t seem to care about how late they are celebrating. The pets are terrified

@SW-User the people wanted the Taliban so they got the Taliban with them shooting their guns in the air. the people get what they want, bullets raining down on them.

@REMsleep oh you must live in Texas or something. I can see it being a tradition down there. I mean in NYC it makes no sense. Guns are illegal there. Stay safe sounds really dangerous
