Are you fully vaccinated ?

If not, why not?
Top | New | Old
AbbeyRhode · F
If you mean, have I become a willing lab rat for a horrific gene-altering experiment that will destroy my immune system and probably kill me, and is NOT a vaccine, then no, I am not.
Nimbus · M
@AbbeyRhode Are you sure? ;)
AbbeyRhode · F
@Nimbus Quite, quite sure.
Sweetpoison · 41-45, F
Not even half … and i won’t.
@Sweetpoison Right. If you don't agree with them, they assume the worst possible reason. Like "you're selfish".
carolinehugz · 51-55, F
@Sweetpoison Don't worry you aren't the only person to spot this but I know younger people who are genuinely worried by it but feel intimidated by others.

The vaccines were supposed to rescue the world but the world is not in a nice place right now I feel and I do fear the future or a backlash or something bad is coming.
Sweetpoison · 41-45, F
@carolinehugz i don’t worry :)
Oster1 · M
No and will not nor want to be around anyone who has been.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@Oster1 Sorry nothing is shed from the vaccine.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@Oster1 did you go to med school and you can speak on the efficacy of vaccines? I believe people who have studied this, not some random idiot on the internet.
Oster1 · M
It’s my opinion and nothing more. There are hundreds perhaps thousands of Doctors who would disagree with you. That’s ok.@iamonfire696
Fully vaccinated with second dose given more than a month ago.
braveheart21 · 61-69, M
Had my second shot near three weeks ago... Didnt even have the sore arm after either one lol @JustGoneNow
SW-User
No.

1. Where I am located, there aren't even enough vaccinations for the priority groups.
2. I don't want to be.
TexChik · F
I had covid , still have antibodies , not trusting the vac
Nimbus · M
@TexChik 👍
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
No I'm not. I dont want it in me
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
@Justanothername no hes almost dead.its so close now.i wear a mask when I sit with him. They say these masks dont even work. He doesnt have covid. Not does my mom.I noticed yesturday my family visiting him. None of them were wearing masks. Very sad. They dont give a rats ass if my parents get it or not. I spoke up to them all. They didnt move a muscle to put one on. No respect .
minxy · 51-55, F
@Justanothername
that’s what all the people who got it thought…..

It didn’t work out so well for them.

Stop guilting people, lumping everyone together and fear mongering.

It's case by case and you know that it is.
@Eddiesolds what’s he dieing from?
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
Absolutely. I had Covid last year and that’s not an experience I care to relive.
TurtlePink · F
@Zaphod42 oh my, are you really in your 90s
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
@TurtlePink Haha! No, forgot I set my age there for and age guess question last week😂
Peapod · 61-69, F
I am fully vaccinated and grateful for it.
SW-User
I have no plans to.

First is that they released it so fast, how could they have had time to study it?

Also you have to wonder why the media and govt is in such a rush for people to get some experimental shot. Unless it was going to benefit the powers that be, they would not be pushing it so hard. You really think it is because they care about you?

You can quote Farci or studies or Dr. FeelGood or link to whatever.
I mean if some official person says it, it MUST be true. Or how do you know?

Thing is, people do not know what is in that shot or what the long term effects might be. What if it ends up shaving 20 years off the end of your life?
Snuffy1957 · 61-69, M
@SW-User MY thoughts exactly!
I already had covid and didn't even get sick
SW-User
Yes

Reason I am in the high risk group and I wanted to start living my life again and I want my community to reach herd immunity.
ElizabethBabe1994 · 31-35, F
No. I don’t trust it. I don’t know why people are taking it. It’s isnt 100% accurate
Rickg · 31-35, M
Yup
Got my rabies shots
Ready to be adopted
Distemper shots too? @Rickg
Rickg · 31-35, M
Well I’m often in a foul mood so probably not @stratosranger
I’m not a lab rat
I’ll wait and see if everyone’s dicks drop of and their uteruses shrivel up in let’s say 5-10 years.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout how is trying to objectively think through past actions justification? the government should’ve been a lot more prepared than they were - sadly the last president eliminated the pandemic task force earlier on in his term and didn’t mobilize resources quickly enough in January 2020
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@SW-User hydrochloriquine doesn’t even work for Covid anyways so anyone that uses this as an argument is laughable.

SW-User
Nope. Not getting it, either.
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Why's that?
SW-User
@Nimbus They don't know enough about the virus yet to really be able to develop a proper vaccine. It happened so fast.
MaryJanine · 70-79, F
Because I haven't left the house since the COVID moved in. I order my groceries when I need then and my neighbor friend takes out my trash and recycling items. I know too many people that wake up the morning after a shot with sick headaches
and sore arms. I don't want to spend three hours or more at a crack sleeping off a medication - and needles and I don't agree, anyway.
SW-User
No and won’t unless the major airlines require it
Lilymoon · F
No. I have an appointment in August for the 2nd shot
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
Not taking the vaccine. Learned 25 years ago that the doctors won’t warn their patients of the risks of taking vaccines after I got paraflu from the vaccines and the doctor after he asked me if I took mine that winter replied “Oh yeah, I can’t take the flu vaccine either, it does the same thing to me.”
Snuffy1957 · 61-69, M
No... don't need it, don't trust it...
Nimbus · M
@Snuffy1957 Why not?
shuhak · M
Yes, and here's proof....

...but I swear, I didn't bite anyone!
Nimbus · M
@shuhak Will you need a top up?
shuhak · M
@Nimbus Not for another 3 years (woo-hoo!)
Nimbus · M
Raine · F
Only one so far. I've had the virus but still think we should all get vaccinated for everyone's sake.
SW-User
No, I avoid people anyways
SW-User
@SW-User avoiding people is always for the best
Nimbus · M
@SW-User 😛
SW-User
yes, i recently got my second vaccination.

Of course it’s a no brainer.
monte3 · 70-79, M
Absolutely!
graphite · 61-69, M
Fully vaccinated, still alive a month later. Would hate to get the virus, and long-term lung and heart damage, when there was something I could've done to stave it off but didn't. So I took the vaccine.

Keepitsimple · 56-60, F
Yes. However if this is like the flu shot I’m done.
Keepitsimple · 56-60, F
@saragoodtimes Yeah, I don’t know if it’s worth it. I could see if was like an MMR vaccine but I’m not doing it annually. I just know we are going to have to get a booster, probably so they can pass another stimulus package or something stupid.
@Keepitsimple never had to deal with kids bringing schoolyard germs home before so we'll see next year
MaryJanine · 70-79, F
@Keepitsimple I hade a colostomy and no one told me I was going to get a prelimnary shot beforehand. I was sleeping when some nurse came in and grabbed my left arm (and I am lefthanded on top of it) ad gave me a long, painful "cat scratch"on my good arm. I was in tears and pain. It woke me up; not a word was exchanged, and I was sore for three days afterward on my left arm.
Miklee02 · 56-60, F
both Moderna shots for me
braveheart21 · 61-69, M
Oxford vaccine for me both shots n felt fine after each @saragoodtimes
@braveheart21 fever and shivering for me. so much so thought I was having a seizure at first
braveheart21 · 61-69, M
Absolutely no side effects at all with either shot @saragoodtimes
butterfly1013 · 31-35, F
No. Haven't even gotten the first one yet. I'm still deliberating on it.
SW-User
Not yet - second dose appointment is later this summer so will be soon enough
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
No. I still self-isolate and won't get the vaccine until circumstances will force me to.
LunarOrbit · 61-69, M
I haven’t had my first shot yet.

Thursdayis my first appt. :(
fun4us2b · M
Yep - 2 months ago, we should put this pandemic behind us
Bri89 · 36-40, M

GeorgeTBH · 36-40, M
