😌 it’s like it was yesterday...

Not seeing bad in anything in this world...

Driving around with friends late at night. And feeling like I had my whole life ahead of me.

Having the hottest and most perfect body

Working two jobs to help support my brother and three sisters and barely hanging on in high school. Watching my mother work herself nearly to death just to bare make rent. Never having any time for dates or hanging out with friends like other teens.

Having to go to court for months and testify against my own father.

My innocent joy in sewing and making my own clothes. I had a 16 year old body that looked good in everything, and I really loved designing and making my own clothes.

Not being 50 haha

Not having my wonderful parents to see after ( I thought I was their protector) and enjoy and work with daddy on the farm and get home schooled by mom or one of her friends every day. 16 was a blast. In the summers I played travel ball. We went every where. Oklahoma, Colorado, and Texas. We played all night, slept all day because of the 120 degree heat on the infield. It was crazy , and fun

uhh being sixteen years old and riding a bike around , i'm tired of being 63 yrs old

The ability to run fast up hill without losing my breathe!!! Knees that use to let me hang upside down and etc.!!! I truly miss my younger body!!!

I used to fly gliders. I miss that.

My parents were still alive then.

Being taller than most of the boys...they. caught up though. 😁

Being able to get into and out of a chair without groaning.

wanting to be 18

All the time I spent in the dance studio... I really miss that.🩰

And summers! Summertime was so much fun as a teen.🕶️

Well, for me that would have been 1993-1994 and things were much simpler compared to now 🤷‍♀️.

Freedom 😊 stress free. PS2. School.

Matter of fact people weren't hardcore reliant on Internet. Women managing to buy a handbag on sale, in actual shops and brag about it.

looking forward to turning 17 and getting my drivers license and shopping for a car with my dad

my back didn't hurt much back then unless I did too much gardening.

Her name was Nedra. She taught me how to really french kiss. I can still smell the chlorine in her hair from when we made out after her swim practice.

the true excitement of deer hunting season on my own.....swimming in the farm pond, the excitement of small town school dances....the innocence of life itself

The fact I broke my tailbone, hips, and a bunch of other stuff and was walking in 3.5 weeks...

What was fun about being 16 was that I really got in to music and we had a band that played at local dances.
