Finally - Covid-19 is not going away. Nature has led to the mutation of a virus into SAR-COV-2 and that is a highly infectious virus that is in the population and is being transmitted between humans with a natural R value of probably somewhere around 2.8 - 3.0. So far humans have only managed to totally eradicate one virus on the planet; smallpox and only then after decades of intensive vaccination programmes globally. We're doing well with polio now, it is limited to only a few countries again through decades of intensive vaccination programmes. So just simply nature and the science tells you that this virus is simply going to be here for the foreseeable future - years, decades, probably longer. So I think that statement is wrong and foolhardy giving people false hope - esp as USA is about to hit the winter when we know that death rates from all sorts of things including especially respiratory infections will rise. I'd wager they will soar in the next 4 - 6 months most likely.

Everything Trump says is a lie. If you believe him, you are an uneducated idiot, so when he says its over, it means it is getting worse, and will continue to get worse. If he tells you its fake, or tells you to take off your mask, what are you going to do? Well, obviously its real, and put your mask on.

@IstillmissEP Conventional PCR, not real-time PCR. They're not the same thing. Unlike politicians, scientists know what they're doing.

It’s history repeating itself over and over again except we’re living it on a daily basis.
Didn’t ever think I would see so so many people believe in lies after lies by just one person. The bigger lies more people seem to be getting sucked in the of alternative facts or proven un-factual facts.
But all this happening because the Big Guy, upstairs is laughing his head. How many times and more chances to get their act together. Come now people it’s only about 36% of people stopping the other 17% of people who would really to change their views and joining on side of what’s right.
The sad part in all this is about trying to save face in front of co-works, close friends, family members and other loosely affiliate groups, because to walk away or give up now after 5 years of being on the same team doing the masters bidding no longer with make weak and a total looser.
Interestingly enough the masters universe, he doesn’t have any plans or alternative offers because he no place for losers. So too those who are riding the rails, going along just to along, start now thinking about your self respect. I know it’s so so very hard of a thing to do by walking away or quitting team and leave your teammates and possibly loosing place. The fifty percent are waiting and counting on you.
That diesel, it’s humming All Aboard!!

@PTCdresser57 your total deaths are 1000, please explain....the tests are not accurate and over 90% testing positive have mild symptoms and the ones dying have underlying health problems...death go up every October ....

They don't. Go inside a hospital and check those magically increasing hospitalizations YOURSELF instead of trusting Fauci and Gates who have invested in vaccines as well as CDC vaccine company. people get sick and go to an emergency care center or the hospital. if they are diagnosed with covid-19 private insurance and gov't plans must pick up 100% of the charge with no co-insurance or deductible. millions of dollars a year go uncollected because people never pay their share of the cost. if you were a doctor or hospital what would you do?

There are different strategies at different stages of a pandemic too, hey. In early stages you try to catch it like SARS. Our state government put us through a lockdown for the second wave - which worked - but there's a cost, yes. We're coming out now and they're trying to manage it with contact tracing, etc. It's different when it becomes widespread in a population. I only know I don't want the damn thing. I had pneumonia as a little kid of about 3 - I actually remember feeling hot, getting out of bed and going out to the paddle pool before my mum saw me through the window. So my lungs are vulnerable.

According to Politifact, It was listed in a press release "Ending Covid Pandemic" which could be taken as a goal and not meant as an accomplishment. Also, Politifact said it wasn't in the original press release and no one knows when it was added.

Because Trump supporters are brainwashed to the point that they will believe him over their own eyes. Even Trumpsters who are losing loved ones from this virus aren’t grasping the severity. Some have died themselves praising him with their last breaths. It’s almost like religious fanaticism.

People are still getting sick from it, even if it's getting redefined as a non-pandemic.
The spread can be temporarily slowed down so that healthcare services can keep up with it. At least that's what they are trying to do in Canada.
