I’m grateful for my family, loved ones and all the wonderful friends I have.

I’m grateful for so many things: family, friends, my home, my job. But today I think the thing I’m most grateful for is that I am finally learning to respect myself.

My knowledge that personal hardship will end. I have faith in God that all will be good (financially) with me. I don't yet know why He put me on my current path. The path is descending into a very steep and dark valley. I don't see the way out yet.
I believe that God has a sense of Humour; I know that he is looking out for me (I have seen evidence of it).
I am grateful for the prophecy of a very large amount of money which I will be handling.

When I first started seeing my counselor she wanted me to think of ten things that I liked about myself every time I looked in the mirror.

This is kind of like that.
Shift your focus from the normal beating yourself up over shortcomings to things you have to live for.

I have one thing that I am grateful to have and to be able to experience and it tends to be my go to when ever a question like this is asked.

My kids.

With them it is a list a mile long of things I am grateful for.

My family, my friends, a job and a comfortable home, a safe place to live, some disposable income, being clean inside and out, a body that works well.
Oh and peas.

Today?
Being in London with my son.
The sunshine beaming down. It is currently 74.
For having a decent job for once.
Having this large monkey dog sleeping quietly next to me on this couch.
Having friends who are caring and supportive and kind and happy.
Living. Breathing. Being able to enjoy life.
The green grass. The falling autumn leaves. The smell of the outdoors inside the house.
The great movies on NetFlix which I can now access on my lap top thanks to my son.
The peace and the joy in this home.
So much more. I ramble. I hope this answers your question adequately. 2020-09-26.
Oh, and for the joy of my trip to the ROM, the Royal Ontario Museum, in Toronto.
And for being able to buy warm, cozy, bright sweaters, and hoodies, and pants.
And for finding a nice jacket for a dear friend from here and one for me too.
I am blessed so much.

I’m grateful for everything good in my life. And also thankful for some of the not so good as well, as they have been priceless stepping stones in life and make my understanding of life‘s trials much greater.

I'm grateful that last night's thunderstorm didn't knock out the electricity, and that I'm able to ponder this question over cup of fresh, hot, coffee! ☕
