WTF is that supposed to mean? 😨
Fishy · 36-40, F
I think we're at a point where its become a vicious circle...
Like people unnecessarily get their defenses up because they're that used to being accused...
If that makes sense?

@Fishy kinda. What do you mean?

@Theambivert Its sorta like if someone gets misjudged so many times, they start to assume everyone is misjudging them by default.
Sorta like a defense mechanism thing?
(wow I suck at explaining things 😅)

I’m not sure 🤔 I can’t speak for others but I personally feel that there are many ppl who are as cold as ice and narcissistic these days 💩 So yeh It’s always nice to bump into someone who’s warm and fuzzy to restore that faith in humanity ♥️🥂

Idk I feel the opposite. People are so totally desensitized to stuff these days
Edit: actually I agree with you. Ppl are broadly desensitized but I think they do take stuff way to personally

@NoahB of course people take stuff personally. What is a board statenent to most people will hit a real raw nerve with others. None of us know what each other are going through. But its when you tell someone their comment upset you and why that they still tell you 'stop being too sensitive' ...then thats having complete disreguard to their feelings and why they feel that way.

People are such big babies. It drives me nuts. They fall apart over every little thing.
CheshireAzur · 36-40, F
Example of gaslighting 🤷🏽♀️
"It's not me that's an asshole, it's you for being 'too sensitive'".

I've seen it in those who were overly pampered and coddled as a child.
Cloud7593 · 46-50, F
@BlondilyOld I have too! Each generation starting from the 50s on gets more and more pampered. I work with the public and see it all the time with people of all ages especially from people aged 70 and below.

I think the opposite.
People are too hard, selfish and selfcentred to consider how their actions and words affect others. People do as they like because they want to with no regard to how other people feel because of their words and actions.
If more people were more sensitive to how other people feel the world would be a better place.

Yep. I'm a snowflake for real.

assemblingaknob · 26-30, F
@Theambivert yep 😁
cycleman · 61-69, M
no, if people were Trump wouldn't be President.
@cycleman well that's different I think. He appeals to a certain demographic perhaps?

Yes.
