They're not wrong. Historically voter turnout in America is extremely low. Democrats need to start getting off their asses and voting instead of just talking shit on the internet.

And crucially... the left ain't a voting block anyone cares about. As someone on the left we sorely overstate our own importance in elections.

@CountScrofula tell that to the libs. Apparently if biden loses its our fault

Liberals are smart, the far left is toxic. 😁 Right wingers are the dangerous ones.

I'm wondering what would happen if Sanders ran alone as opposed to being a dem. candidate.
There was something like almost 50% of non-voters in 2016 election, or do I remember bad? And if those didn't vote for the far-right nor the centre/centre-right 🤔

@Elessar its probably higher than that tbh. Voter turn out in america is horrible. Its hard to say what would happen if Sanders ran third party. It's likely he would have achieved enough votes to either start or grant an existing third party federal funding. Although him winning the presidency is a much much longer shot.
Likely he would get 15% of the vote and cost democrats the election (lol).
so in retrospect it probably would have been better. but those tea leaves are very hard to read

Basically, because someone is going to win this election. And Trump is actively trying to steal a second term. The people who don’t vote, or throw their vote to a third party candidate (who can’t win) are helping to keep Trump in office. So for any of them to then complain about Trump is disingenuous. That’s just the way it is.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Liberals aren't even "left"
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
Well, when we're looking at a moderate Republican party wearing a blue hat vs a radical Republican party wearing a red hat, the actual leftists don't really have anything to vote for there.
@NoahB and republicans feel entitled to scrapping elections entirely and letting Trump rule for life?
NoahB · 31-35, M
@Mandalorian i'm not saying thats good or that I like trump or I support voter suppression, I'm just saying griping about a .0001% of left leaning voters not voting for biden is not going to help
@NoahB Youre right, I agree...

@PainfulTruth The only statistically relevant communism I can see both in Europe and America at the moment resides in the head of afraid conservatives, honestly.
