Do you believe in energy vampires?

Well, there are people in life who are very, very self involved and they relish in talking about themselves to anybody who will listen, and most people are too polite to interrupt them or simply run for the hills, and having such people waste your time while they go on and on and on and on can feel like they're 'energy vampires'.

Yup, I do.

I've always called people who waste your time time vampires.

I prefer to call them emotional parasites.

Yes, but lots of people who (typically), hug others & replenish their own 'psychic' (& I use the term loosely), have no idea that an energy transfer haa occurred - they just know they feel better ..& love hugs.

Some people are aware that their energy can be tapped by others in this way, & may choose not to embrace certain friends when feeling at a low ebb ..but may happily donate energy when feeling well - knowing that the recipient is unwell in one way or another. :)

Of course, I may have made this all up, or be deluded.. :D

Oh yeah. When a particular friend of mine is in a bad mood it just drains the life out of me. It's not even like she's rude to me or anything, but my energy never lasts long.
