With people dying daily all over the globe due to the virus, why do certain people feel it necessary to try to make this political?

TinyViolins · 31-35, M
People that are entrenched in their beliefs, be it religious, political, social, or otherwise, already have their minds made up about the world before getting any facts. They live by the fallacy of reaching a conclusion first and then working backwards to collect evidence confirming that conclusion. People are notoriously bad at separating their beliefs from their identity, and will make and defend outrageous claims to protect their fragile egos

This is actually an incredibly politically (and geopolitically) relevant event, and a rare situation where politics actually touches us directly.

From the reaction of our government services, to mitigating the economic damage, to the ripples that we're seeing in the geopolitical sphere - politics is deeply enmeshed in how humans respond to the pandemic on every level of our societies.

Dealing with emergencies of this scale is one of the primary reasons we have politicians for in the first place.

Some politicians are making it political.

They should step back and let the medical people take charge. Dont discredit the medical experts

Yammering on and on me me me, look how good I am, look at me, how big, great I am look at my ratings.

@UserNameSW It's not just Pelosi, it's Schumer and Schiff as well.

I dont have the patience to listen to all the stories being told. They are a waste of time and energy. It's a virus, and a situation any one of could've seen coming.
Here - Here --no its not political if you have a Black man in the White House - only when you have a white conservative in there then it becomes a free for all...

That's what the media does
