Go to bed at a decent AND CONSISTENT time each day and let your body wake you up. I've become a huge hypocrite about that since the pandemic, but it's very important to emotional stability.
@Ohbabe But sometimes emotions are unrealistic because the though we have had to create them is unrealistic. It is better to ignore those ones, so that we can understand and learn from the real ones.
To be sad all day means a series of thoughts is holding you in that emotion. One of those thoughts may be I am going to be sad all day.
i have really bad mood swings from my mental illness but what helps me during some bad mind states like when i have rage panic attacks is grounding myself and using breathing techniques
@Ohbabe you’ll always have me to lean on if you need it, above all else remember that sometimes the best you can do is make sure you eat a little bit, stay hydrated, and get rest and that’s perfectly okay❤️
@Ohbabe ive never heard of that before. perhaps it signifies that your mind is always working and that the process of calming it down is almost alarming for your mind/body. i'd explore further if possible
@Zaxel my therapist talked me through it. Pretty much that there was a lot going on. Attempting to calm down and direct my attention inward was a bit too much,
