I was introduced to death early in my life with 4 friends in their teens dying for various reasons.
1 suicide, 1 murder, 1 drowning and 1 Motorcycle accident. My brother died aged 32 of alcoholic poisoning when I was 20. My Grandmother(who raised me) died when I was 22, My Father died when I was 25.
I learnt early that life is a Lottery. Some lose and die early.
Those who win still die, just takes a few years longer.

@Gusman same about a lot of death as a teen. 3 vehicle related accidents - 2 of them were on their way to school in the morning - and one cancer case!

@NiftyWhite Some people never got the chance to live much of a life.
All of us still living are just lucky to have gotten as far as we have.
That's my view on life, and Death

@Gusman indeed. my dad is elderly and feels very sorry himself that he’s old and can’t do anything. I try to tell him a lot of people never made it to half his age or a quarter of it before they were in the ground.

I genuinely fear death. The idea that one day I will take my last breath scares me. I don't even like to talk about it.

@Laughman it's just the same place you were before you were born
Laughman · 46-50, M
@SW-User not exactly. Before I was born I was developing and had a good supply 24/7. When I die I will have nothing and no one.
@Laughman You had nothing before that lucky accident between your parents ;=)

I dunno I haven't died yet. ┴┬┴┤•ᴥ•ʔ/

Dead 😂
The thought of it? The fact of it? Lol. I feel accepting of it most of the time and then get waves of dread and fear but that's in conjunction with a depressive episode & or prolonged anxiety attack
