What is the C gender on SW?

Some posts have M for male.
Some have F for female
Some have T for trans
What is C though?

Was that prefer not to answer, or other?

Why the letter C then?

C is for couple, but in my opinion it is usually also code for a guy who uses SW, who has pictures of his wife/gf, and acts like she is also interacting here and ok with pictures being posted here, when in fact she has no idea.

@Bubbles That is a good theory...and possibility.
Bubbles · 36-40, F
@indyjoe Every couple I see on here, there is usually an air of overt sexuality, resulting in pictures of the wife being posted, of which I can tell based on the pictures that the wife just has no idea.

@Bubbles I have seen it too. The "C" is definitely misused, and it also gets used by people looking to hook up for threesomes and so on. Like I told someone else just now...I used it when I first started here but not for sexual purposes. I used it to let others know I was in a relationship (married), but figured later that it would be better to put "M" and state that I married on my profile.

Confused. It's for those still struggling with their gender identity.

Not really, it's for couple, but not the worst lie I've ever come up with :)

I just had to read the fucking comments on this post about gender. Ugh I'm dumb. Should've known better on this site. UGH. >.<

There should be one for nonbinary people.
Miram · 31-35, F
Cute.

But sometimes it stands for a guy who is posting revenge porn, or his partner's nudes behind her back. Basically a C@#t

C probably means "cis", the trendy term (derived from biology jargon) for "what you see is what you get" or "the gender my body was born with" or "non-trans". Like, a woman born with lady parts is "cis female".
Lucinda · 100+, F
@Rikudou I feel that way about it too - it should be unnecessary. However, people who use it say that it's needed to make trans people feel comfortable with that fact that it needs to be specified. I think it's dopey myself, but it's becoming pretty common in many places.
GoldenWorm · 51-55, M
@Lucinda cis/trans is a chemistry thing as it pertains to molecular positioning of sub groups of atoms.
Lucinda · 100+, F
@GoldenWorm Oh, I'm sorry. I was never big on science, and said biology instead of chemistry. I knew it was a hard-science-based definition. Thanks!
[c=#359E00]it supposed to be Couple but i believe it's only guy[/c]
indyjoe · 56-60, M
@YukikoAmagi There have been a couple of them who were female and they used the "c" to let others know they were in a relationship, and a couple of guys have too (I did when I first started but changed it because I got tired of being asked what the "c" was for.

That means what to biology @PainfulTruth
Belladonna · 41-45, F
@PainfulTruth You really don't know what you're talking about, do you? I tried to educate. And, last I knew, "human" was a noun.

Ignorance is the basis of their hate @Belladonna
Synyster · 51-55, M
What about "I"? That's for Illusionary.
We need an "S" for the stupid to use!!!
indyjoe · 56-60, M
