@helenS that hanburger on the right would feed me for 4 meals

Yeah, I never get that. Football "couches" is what they should be called

It's diet and people in Europe tending to use their cars less. I don't think I've ever seen a drive-thru in Europe, and serving sizes are smaller in restaurants. A lot of things, including petrol and food, are relatively cheaper in North America, so people use and expect more, with predictable results.
@helenS Possibly. I'm not insightful enough about american culture to judge them on their drive to do good things for themself. So I try and stick to more objective reasons.
@helenS it's the fact that the huge muscle mass does not continue to be worked so it slowly turns to fat I used to weight lift and stopped working out in my 40s. Although I still have some strength in me, nothing like I was and my muscles have evolved to fat
@ronisme1 Muscle never turns to fat. Eating the same amount as you did when you used to workout and train adds fat to your body. When you retire from foorball or stop training, you need to decrease your caloric intake.
@quitwhendone i never ate much to begin with and dont eat much now. I've been told I eat like a bird. Lack of working out changes that muscle, you will see when you finally stop working out
European (and most foreign) women I've met are much more intelligent, pretty, healthy, classy, sexy and are actually nice to be around. I particularly enjoy how they don't send out mixed messages and are not entitled, narcissistic or materialistic like their American counterparts.
@helenS Have you ever watched the majority of marathon runners? most crack open a beer as soon as they finish their run.😂 I did that and I weigh the same now as I did in high school 53 years ago. My weight has not gone more than 3 lb. +/- in that time. But American women for the most part have shown to gain much more weight than the males here and it is gross to see them wearing exercise tights with legs so fat that you wonder if they shouldn't carry fire extinguishers while wearing them.🥺
That picture represents some of America's worst, while capturing some of Europe's best. The craziest part of that picture is 2 of the US coaches are in their 60's when that picture was taken. I am sure the other set of coaches are much younger.
Here is a fair much more reasonable comparison. Take the United States Marine Corps silent drill against any group you wish.
Thank you for taking the time to read and reply to my post. You made an interesting point in your picture and on this very Patriotic weekend in the USA, I had to. Have a great day and remember "The Few, The Proud, The Marines."
@chrisCA oh OK I thought you did no worries. The above illustration is how the coaches are dressed. They are told how to dress by the league and with a little variance. This is also typical dress for high school and college American football. Minus the chosen fat slobs lol
In Canada we're influenced by both Europe and the United States in pretty much all aspects of our lives, but over the past 30 years there has been a far more pronounced impact from the US.
@nahright09 Canadians are cool, and with some luck you'll get the best from both worlds. I'm not one to spread anti-Americanism here. I love America, and it's one of the few countries outside Europe where I could live.
Lol @all the Americans getting offended. Ffs, this is just a joke. I like American men, but there's just something about European men that attracts me more 😛
@AnonymousJSS Of course, it was only meant as a light-hearted joke. In fact all American men I have ever met were in good shape, and attractive. Very attractive.
The reality is not much different even in Australia, i was shocked three major cities i visited both men or women were much much healthire or barely any obesity...you are not wrong. And as sooon i landed back home TX i saw a totally different View every very obese people.
@aaaabbbb It varies from country to country. I was in the UK three years ago, and I was surprised to see how many men were overweight. In France and Italy most men make a point of being lean and attractive.
@Flipper111 Bodies are different in the USA as those that work for a living and / or not liberals / socialists / elitists are most often slim and well toned. The best bodies are in the western part of the Midwest. The Liberal controlled states have the highest percentage of fat asses that do not work, professional students, academia and lazy asses that prefer soft jobs and working from home. If a liberal is not a fat ass then they are most likely gay or narcissistic like Obama and others of his ilk.
@Royrogers When I was in the UK some years ago (summer 2018? can't remember) I was a bit disappointed I have to say. I had expected lots of well-clothed men in conservative suits (something I like very much), but – not so. I was mainly in Wales (Cardiff, Aberystwyth (spelling?) and Barmouth), and most men were just - meh. Overweight and their bellies hanging out of their T shirts. 😐
@helenS yes quite depressing really. As soon as it is hot some men must take there shirts off. Dress properly all of you. Even if they appear to go to the gym or under take a sport they must walk around in sport kit as though they have not showered.

Yeah, that’s not across the board applicable Just sayin
I can offer a opinion now that i am alot older. When i was in my 20's and 30's i was trim and muscular with a thin waist and a six pac stomach that i worked on all the time. As i grew older so did my fat content of my body. I didnt work out as much and my muscles turned to fat. I dont look as bad as the men who you pictured as above but i have put on some weight. I believe american men eat processed foods, lousy diets and no longer work out as a whole when they age. Look at any man from either portion of the world and compare. I believe there wont be such a drastic difference.
@ronisme1 I think you (and many others) take my silly post much too seriously. I met many men when I was in America, and they were handsome, kind, and polite. I felt right at home.
I dropped off my wife at a Victoria's Secret location and parked on the street to await her return. I watched for an hour and a half as people walked by on the sidewalk and quickly came to the conclusion that the majority of Americans are overweight or obese.
When my wife returned to the car she stated that she was hungry and asked where I wanted to eat lunch. I told her I was craving a Big Mac.... LOL
Disclaimer: I weigh the exact same as I have weighed for the past 15 years and have a low cholesterol number - so I am really fortunate that I don't have to concern myself with calories and such...
My old fun post about fat American men, and lean European men has re-surfaced, after four years! (Note to self: nothing you do will ever go away completely)
@dsrice Obesity is on the rise everywhere. Although I think it's still more common in America than in Europe. I lived in the US for a while, and I was surprised about the number of obese people.
I suspect there are additional reasons as well. European women are more sensual as well: they tend to embrace their sexuality more and be less hung up on fashion, being skinny, and taking hygiene to some antiseptic level.
Don’t count the American coaches out just yet, once they go down to eat a girl out, they’re not going back up, largely cause they can’t, but at least they’ll never not be in position
