You base the entire male population on a few football coaches? 馃
Doomflower 路 36-40, M
@DragonFruit they're not atypical American men.
helenS 路 36-40, F
@DragonFruit They are role models aren't they!
Brianthesnail 路 56-60, M
Right, it's not a random sample@DragonFruit
They are supposed to be the best

@helenS Role models by accomplishment not phyisical appearance. I don't think some kid somewhere is saying " I want to be fat just like that successful coach is.
Just a thought.

@Dainbramadge I ask myself why are they so fat. They are football coaches.
Dainbramadge 路 56-60, M
@helenS OK. Gotta agree with you on that. LOL. They went from being very fit to the extreme opposite. Boggles the mind.

@Dainbramadge I have my own theory: European soccer players are runners, thin and athletic, like Achilles. Later, once they have become coaches, their body shape does not change.
American football players (rugby as well) are massive fighters, like Hercules, famous for their strength. They have to eat 5000 calories a day. Later, once they have become coaches, they do not change their eating habits, and become fat.

@helenS OK. I have to say I love your way of thinking. :-) . I think you are correct. The game changes but the meals don't. LOL

@ronisme1 Muscle never turns to fat. Eating the same amount as you did when you used to workout and train adds fat to your body. When you retire from foorball or stop training, you need to decrease your caloric intake.

@quitwhendone i never ate much to begin with and dont eat much now. I've been told I eat like a bird. Lack of working out changes that muscle, you will see when you finally stop working out
