Trump said if he became President he’d eliminate the US national debt within 8 years. Two years in how’s he doing ?

News flash: a president can only be as good as congress will let him/her be, and Trump has encountered more obstruction/resistance from congress than any other president in U.S. history!

BOTH flavors of America's deep state plutocracy have fought Trump tooth and nail, yet he's still managed to get more shit done that the four previous administrations COMBINED!

Not so good.
Congress / Senate is fighting him every step of the way.
Even RINO republicans.
They just don't want an 'outsider' succeeding I think.

But, it's only been two years in. He's got another 6 to go.

National debt has gone up by 2 trillion I think I heard last night on the news and the projection is another 2 trillion by the end of his 4 yr term

He's doing better than ofumbles who made the same claim, yet managed to triple the national debt in under 8 months...

Not very well... not very well at all. But, everyone knew he meant that he was going to eliminate it "indirectly" and that Tim Apple means Tim from Apple so by saving words like that he is... you know... saving time and time is money. So, yeah...

Now I dont like Trump.. AT ALL. But I am not going to blame him for the debt. Sure he has added to it. made it worse. But Short of an undeclared civil war that was always going to happen. The tax breaks for special interest groups, the corruption of congress and the senate and the sheer waste is beyond control and the country went over the economic cliff sometime between the dot com bubble and the first GFC and another is coming. But this time China is better placed to pick up whats left. America as an economic superpower has run its course. Thats just the way it is.
