Do you swear a lot?

Do you view it as vulgar and filthy or as just words? Somewhere in between?

I have answered this question before by someone else I think, but here's my take on it...I don't mind an adult using the occasional swear words in normal conversation, but I cannot stand to hear someone talk and every other word out of their mouth is a swear word (especially when it seems the only one they know is f**k). It bothers me to hear kids using them as I was taught growing up that kids should not talk like that. I mean I know kids will repeat what they hear sometimes, but I have noticed kids today who use foul language worse than most adults. And getting back to adults using it...like I said I don't mind hearing it to an extent, but I was also taught that there are times, places, and people where watching your language is the appropriate thing to do. I am more conscious of what I say in those instances and especially around children.
No

I try to set a good example for the boy

It's unnecessary, there are other effective words one can use

Quantity depends on each person, for me, I don't really swear a lot, but not a little bit either. Sometimes they're just words with no intention of being vulgar (they're out of habit or jokingly), sometimes they're meant to be offensive, according to each situation.

I don't. Yes I see it as vulgar.
But id say depends on the person.
I rather like someone that swears a all the time than someone that only does it on certain occasions it looks like they are just maintaining an image

I was brought up never to swear; even "blast" was frowned on. Nowadays I have to remind myself that certain words aren't intended to be taken literally !!

I think swearing had its place in life... And it's a limited place... Like all things. Over used it loses it effectiveness

It depends what company I'm in. Even among people that do swear it's not in every paragraph, nor do my friends that swear.
